Spring Is Here!

Spring is here! I know this because the first litter of kittens arrived a week ago. Cats have their babies in the silliest of places sometimes! It took a couple days to find this litter, but finally located them in the attic of an old outbuilding. Getting to see them, on the other hand, was a whole new challenge. It took cutting away some of the ceiling and being covered in shavings (apparently these were used as insulation), but I finally got to see them. I had a hunch there were four, and I was right...three orange ones and one gray one. They are so cute!

The grass is turning green, the robins have been back for a couple of weeks, and the geese are laying their eggs. Even the frogs and crickets are in full chorus.

I have once again been unsuccessful in getting my greenhouse built. I do believe I am going to have to admit defeat in placing it in the wind tunnel it appears we have. I may have to change the location, and build smaller ones.

I have finally come up with a plan for our yard this year...now to incorporate my plan with existing limitations. It should work out well though, as I have a lot of space, and a lot of wood I can recycle. I will post updates as I go along. Until next time...
