Busy Weekend

I had an interesting experience this morning! I grew up on a farm, and was around cows most of the time. I do have to say, however, today was the first time I was ever kicked by one. Knocked me flat on my butt! That'll teach me to get too close behind her. :P

Aside from that, it has been a good week. I am almost ready for the 4H Public Speaking Event on Sunday, which is a good thing. Did the shopping for it yesterday, and forgot the two most important things for coffee - cream and sugar. Oops! At least we realized it today and not Sunday while we were making coffee and putting everything out.

Tomorrow afternoon will be spent visiting with family when they come over for cake and ice-cream for my son's birthday (which was Tuesday). Then, it will be time to make squares for Sunday's event. A very busy weekend indeed.

I did make arrangements today to sell my crafts at a general store in a neighbouring village. That is very exciting for me, because I will be able to have them displayed all the time, yet not have to be there. I will pay the store owner a portion of my sales for her space, so its a win-win situation.

Time for me to put this sore body to bed...and see if I can get up in the morning. I'm sure I'll really feel the effects of the kick and the ground when I wake up. Goodnight all!
